Your Roman day begins with a relaxing stroll in Campo de’ Fiori. This area, in the heart of Rome’s historic center, is one of the city’s most lively and authentic, featuring the famous square and numerous attractions. Beyond the renowned daily market, the square hosts numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops. By day, it’s perfect for shopping local products; by night, it comes alive with nightlife, becoming a favorite destination for food, music, and entertainment enthusiasts. With our expert guide, you will explore the narrow cobblestone alleys, discovering the true spirit of Campo de’ Fiori. The pastel-colored buildings, small artisan shops, and hidden restaurants create an authentic and fascinating atmosphere, ideal for a tranquil stroll away from the main square’s crowds.
After savoring the energy of Campo de’ Fiori, head towards Villa Farnesina for a guided tour through the artistic genius of Raphael. This Renaissance villa is Renaissance architectural masterpiece surrounded by a lush Italian garden. Its main treasure lies in the extraordinary frescoes by Raphael, such as the famous “Triumph of Galatea” in the “Loggia of Love and Psyche”. The Rooms of Love and Psyche showcase frescoes depicting mythological love stories, offering a glimpse into the mythical world with Raphael’s unmistakable touch. Your expert guide will lead you through the beautifully decorated rooms, unveiling the secrets and stories behind each masterpiece. After the villa visit, take a break in the magnificent surrounding gardens. Relax amidst green lawns, fountains, and statues, enjoying the tranquility of this enchanting corner hidden in the heart of Rome.
The last part of our tour is a delightful stroll through Trastevere.
